Dr. Kelsey Dawson has spent nearly the last decade working with elite athletes at the Collegiate, Olympic, and Professional levels. Her work has focused on addressing mental health concerns, sport and performance psychology, psychological testing, trauma, and eating disorder treatment. She has held various positions at Purdue University, The University of Oklahoma, The Ohio State University, and Wright State University before opening her private practice.
Dr. Dawson earned a bachelor's degree in psychology (magna cum laude with honors and research distinction) from Ohio State University, where she was a member of the women’s varsity swim team and competed in the 2012 Olympic Trials. Her doctorate in clinical psychology is from Wright State University School of Professional Psychology, and she completed her doctoral internship at the University of Oklahoma Athletics Department Psychological Resources for OU Student-Athletes (PROS). Her areas of clinical focus include sport and performance psychology, eating disorders, trauma, EMDR, and relationship concerns.
In her free time, Dr. Dawson enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs, baking, and exercising.
